We are proud to announce that we are now the official sponsors for Park Primary’s Shinty Club.
At Oilfast, we truly believe that businesses should support the communities that support them with Park Primary Shinty club becoming the latest beneficiaries of the community orientated ethos.
Grassroots sports play a vital role in developing the local youngsters. Park Primary Shinty Club, who are local to our Oban Depot (based next to Oban Airport) were chosen for the determination and hard work. They have shown success with very little sponsorship to date and we felt they deserved the financial support which will hopefully provide the support they need to continue to flourish.
In an interview with Oban times, our Oban area director, Dail Beattie commented on the sponsorship:
“These young lads have had an amazing success with unbelievable support from their parents and coaches.
‘The hard work that has been put into this team by everyone involved is nothing short of inspiring and we wanted to help in any way we can. The perfect sponsorship opportunity arose for Oilfast to get involved and we are ecstatic that the kids will finally look the part. They deserve it.
‘Oilfast Oban depot is in its infancy but we have had great support from the local community and wanted to give back where we could. Oban and the local area define what community really means and we will continue to support them with our up and coming charity events and school safety projects. We would also like to wish the kids the best of luck in their future tournaments.’
